Runecrafting
Learning goal
Carve runes at the Inscription Table and forge them into swords and armour.
Step 01
The Inscription Table
Place a scroll or an engraving material on the table, lay a Blank Runestone beneath it and carve the rune with the Inscription Chisel. Materials make the common runes; Rare and Legendary Scrolls come from the boss chests.

Step 02
The Runeforge
The Runeforge sets rune stones into a sword or a piece of armour. Enchantments stay, and it costs no experience.

Step 03
Pillars and tiers
Runeforge Pillars with crystals around the forge unlock the second slot, and with Resonant Crystals in the inner pillars the legendary slot.
Good to know
- Putting a sword rune on armour; sword runes only fit swords.
- Forgetting that a filled rune slot stays filled.
