Compatibility

What The Astral Sea runs with.

Requirements for Minecraft 1.21.1 with Fabric, plus the performance mods and shader packs we have tested and adjusted the dimension for.

Requirements

You need all four. The installer and the modpack set them up for you.

    The official Minecraft Launcher brings it along for 1.21.1.

What the installer brings

Upcoming versions of the Windows installer bundle only The Astral Sea, Fabric Loader and Fabric API. If you pick Sodium, Iris, Complementary Reimagined or Rethinking Voxels, the installer downloads them directly from Modrinth during installation, so an internet connection is needed. The modpack (.mrpack) also fetches its mods from Modrinth.

The Astral Sea is tested with and adapted for these projects. They belong to their authors; we are not affiliated with them, and they are not part of The Astral Sea itself.

Other mods and shader packs

Anything not listed here has not been checked yet. It may work, but we cannot promise it. If you run into a problem, please report it with your mod list on GitHub. This list grows as we test more.
