A Mycelisk is in no hurry. It creeps across spore moss and rooted mycelium towards small mushrooms, feels them with its eye stalks and grazes. Wherever it crawls over mycelium, the veins below light up for a moment behind it.

When threatened it pulls back into its shell and waits, taking much less damage until the danger has passed. It can be bred with spore tufts or small Duskcaps, and the young inherit the colour of the shell.
