Every Pearlclam spends a good while growing one, and opens now and then to show it off. The pearl is soft white with a faint sheen, and builders love it for what it does to glass.
Right-click an open clam to take the pearl. One pearl with eight Pale Glass makes eight Pearlescent Blocks, a soft, milky glass; if you want a steady supply, bucket a few clams and start a pool of your own.
