Frost Grazers travel in small families, plodding across the snow fields, sniffing, shaking out their fur and pushing snow aside with their tusks to get at what lies beneath. Every few minutes one turns hunter: it scents small prey, closes in slowly and ends it with a lunge and a swipe of its paw. It never goes for young, tamed or named animals, or for a Snowburrower hidden under the snow.

Threaten it or its young and it lowers its head as a warning, then rams you with its tusks. It does not hold a grudge and calms down soon, especially once you have backed off.

Behaviour

  • Hunts small animals every 3 to 6 minutes.
  • Calms down after 20 s or at 16 blocks.
