Sporewings carry spores from plant to plant, and some of that glowing dust stays on them.
Sporewings sometimes leave some behind, and it turns up in Shroom Viles chests. Mixed with an Ink Sac, it makes a Glow Ink Sac, for signs that glow in the dark.
