A Spore Beetle trundles from plant to plant, taps each one with its antennae and takes some spores without harming it. As it fills up, the pores on its back begin to glow. A full beetle sometimes makes a small plant grow or starts new spore tufts on fungal ground.

Brush a full beetle and you get a spore tuft. When something scares it, it scurries under a plant or an overhang, pulls in its legs and stays very still for a few seconds. It breeds on spore tufts or small Duskcaps.
