Shattered Furnace

A volcanic land of lava rivers, small volcanoes, fire geysers and charred ruins.

biome

Version: 0.1.0-pre-alpha

The air glows red and smells of smoke. Ember trees and dead trunks stand between basalt arches and glowing fissures, lava rivers cut through the ash plains and small volcanoes rise from them. Fire geysers erupt, smoke vents blacken the sky, and between it all lie charred campsites, ruins, lava wells and the remains of a watchtower.

Almost everything that lives here wants you gone. Ifrits throw embers from a distance, Magma Brutes slam the ground, Cinder Beetles charge, Ember Wasps pour out of their nests in the rock, Charred Moths dive at you and Magma Lurkers spit from the lava. Fire Tornadoes wander across the land, and in the ruins the spirits burn: Charred Souls haunt them in place of the Lost Spirits.
