Avelite Carapace Fragment

Crawlers carry plates of grown Avelite on their backs. They drop a few when they fall, and a living Crawler sometimes sheds one on its own while it grazes on stone, so you can collect them without a fight if you are patient.

Four fragments, two Keldite Ingots and a shield make a Reinforced Shield, which keeps you planted after a heavy blow. If you plan to face the Sanctum's hard hitters, that is a shield worth making.
