Cave Prowler

Cave Prowlers forage among moss and roots on the cave floor, groom themselves and curl up to sleep. Come too close and one vanishes into the ground in a burst of dust. You can still follow its path: a trail of stirred-up earth and the occasional glow of its back spots moves away through the stone. It never breaks a block.

Sneak and it lets you get a little closer. It is worth watching, too. After a calm wander a prowler sometimes finds a small deposit, digs it up with a shower of sparkles and leaves Churned Soil behind, which can hold Keldite, Hollow Pearls or, rarely, Astral Ore.
