A Capclaw scuttles sideways around its little patch of ground. Step too close and it rears up, opens its big claw and clicks. That is a warning, and if you back off, nothing happens. Stay, sprint or strike, and it snaps at you.

After a few hits from the front it raises its claws like a shield and takes far less damage. Circle round and hit it from the side. Capclaws can be bred with Mycelial Dew, and their young never attack.
